ADVISOR
hJH. SABARIAH FARIDAH
As a mother of five children, and currently having seven grandchildren, she is very passionate about early childhood education. Since her first volunteer job as a part-time teacher at a kindergarten in Ottawa, Canada back in 1984, she has gone through a meaningful career path in the field of education.
Besides being a Founder and Executive Director of Integrated Islamic School Shah Alam (IISSA), her path has also taken her into becoming the trainer, consultant and academic author of The Little Caliphs Program, an Islamic-English-Creative preschool program which she run alongside her husband Haji Roslan bin Nordin.
Little Caliphs Program is a creative pre-school curriculum integrates the basic teaching of Islam with other basic knowledge and skills such as reading, writing, drawing, Math, and English. One of her visions among many is to cultivate the ability to read in young children around the world at the tender age of 4. Furthermore, she would love for this program to be adopted by kindergartens all over the world so that children will have the correct understanding and positive attitude towards learning and Islam. Started with only 12 children, now there are nearly 25000 students within 312 kindergartens using The Little Caliphs Program.
